Airline Training Institute 707 Cockpit Procedurs Trainer (CPT)

A CPT is used to train crews in cockpit procedures. In a CPt a crew may pratice a variety of normal and abnormal procedures without the expense of operating an aircraft or sophisticated simulator. TWA gave it's pilot unlimited access to CPTs during their ground school. The CPTs were the perfect place to put to work the knowledge gained in groundschool, and were a natural stepping stone to simulator training.
