Apollo Lunar Module cockpit at Cradle Of Aviation Musuem

The Cradle of Aviation Museum features quite a bit of information on the Apollo Lunar Module, as they were made by Grumman nearby on Long Island.

These photographs were taken in the LM simulator that's on display at the museum. The simulator was used by NASA to train Apollo crews just as airlines use simulators to train their pilots.
Click here to got the the Various section of my webpage to see LM-13, the Lunar Module built for the cancelled Apollo 18 mission, as well as LM-1, the first Lunar Module ever built. Both are on display at the Cradle Of Aviation Museum.
