Just south of Bab Zuwayla is a covered street known as Tentmakers. Traditionally these craftsmen sewed tents by hand, the exterior a light canvas with colorful stripes and a kalidiscope of colors and desins inside. Now much of there work has turned to pillow cases, wall coverings, comforter covers and the like. Tents can be still be had there, though one has to look! Any trip to the Bazaar is not complete without a visit to Tentmakers.
