We were up early Tuesday morning and departed the hotel for Culloden Battlefield, scene of Bonny Prince Charlie's last stand against the English army on April 16, 1746. We toured the visitor's centre then the battlefield just day's after the battle's anniversary, which explained all the flowers at the different markers and monuments.
