Gullfoss, Hot Srpings & Geysir - with some wicked sleet thrown in for good measure

Day two in Iceland began with a visit to Gullfoss. But first we had to wait for a lot of horses to cross the road....

Next it was off to Geysir & Hot Springs. We had to navigate our way through roving snow squalls first, though.

We got to the Geysir where the squalls continued. The wind was so strong walking in the squalls one felt like sand was being thrown! The squalls cleared as we got to the geysir itself.

We hurried from the geysir to the gift shop for a hot lunch. Afterwards Scott and Josh modelled the latest in Icelandic ninjawear.
