A Quick stop at the British Museum

The British Museum (below) was on the route from Kings Cross to Big Ben, so a quick stop seemed in order. Josh was quick to spot the "Genies" or Assyrian lions, one of which he posed in front of. This is one of two lions that flanked the throne room of Ashirnasalpal. (883-859 BC)

We spent most our short time at the museum in the Egyptian section.

There was a beautiful Reading room in the center of the museum, which we quickly peaked into on our way out.
