Temple of Po

We visited the Temple of Po before we left Bangkok It had a lot of pagodas (above, with spires) as well as quite a few stone statues from China. Our guide told us they were used as ballast on ships from China. The gate below is flanked by two statues of Marco Polo that came from China.

The temple also included many gold buddhas, including the one above used by monks and royalty, a standing Buddha (below) and the famous reclining Buddha. (bottom.
