The Tower of London

Our first stop of the second day was the Tower of London. We saw the Queen's Crown & Jewelery (called the crown jewels) and posed with one of the guards outside. (Below)

We went inside and saw a great model of the whole complex. (Below)


There was quite a bit of armour on display. Josh (above left) checked out a Knight on horseback while Scott (above right) posed in front of armour made for a young prince. Below Josh looks at the Line of Kings, a collection of ten King's horses and armour dating from 1610. (Below) The horses are just carved, of course, but are as old as the armour they accompany.



Walking along the top of the outer walls provided some nice views of London, including one of the Tower Bridge. (Above)
